[News] SS501 Last Stage in 'Inkigayo' on 29 November, Will come back early next year.

5 Men group SS501 participate in their last stage in 'Inkigayo'.

In the live telecast of SBS 'Inkigayo' on 29 November, SS501 performed their theme song 'Love Like This' in their mini album as their last stage performance. SS501 also received their No.1 'Mutizen' Award for last week today, they expressed their appreciation to their fans: "Thank you TripleS for making us as singer, we will come back with better state next year."

After 1 year 7 month of long waiting period, SS501 returning together to release their mini album. It has won No.1 ranking in major music chart, showing their high popularity.

They faced with issues of plagiarism during the production of the album, causing some problem to their theme song and thus led to the delay in album release. However, the end result of their meticulous & hard work was well received by the fans and accumulated a total sales of above 100,000 albums.

In future, they have planned to move forward to the oversea market. Their Asia Tour Concert has allowed SS501 to perform for the first time in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Shanghai and other Chinese area. They received great responses and were more than expectation.

In appreciation of their fans for allowing SS501 to gain the current position in the Chinese area, they have put in their heart in planning a series of promotional activities.

After the sales of their 'Rebirth' mini album, with a start point of their visit to Taiwan and Hong Kong, following by Shanghai, Beijing, Malaysia, Singapore and other Chinese area; signing their Chinese area album contract with Taiwan Warner Music, their Taiwan released album is ranked No.1 in major music chart, just like when they released their album in Japan, their charmed are unstoppable.

Especially when SS501 held their Taiwan Concert in Taipei Area during October, 12,000 seats were sold out, it was unbelievable since that was their first concert in Taiwan, even the related local organizer also expressed their surprised to this.

Ooooh, lucky Chinese fans. So they're signing their Chinese area album contract with Taiwan Warner Music? Why can't they do the same in the Philippines. Oh well, maybe someday.

Wow! Reena is fast! She has finished half of the comic series. Here's Episodes 8 & 9 of SETI comics. For those who are interested in aliens and the extraterrestrial, like Leader, oh... and Kyu fans. ^_^

We have tuned in to the 3 major music programs, Music Core, Inkigayo & Music Bank since SS501's comeback, and now... 1 month later, they're saying goodbye. It's a month full of screams and giddiness, every weekend, we anticipated our boys' performance. And we've celebrated with them in their victories, having won 2 K-Chart wins in Music Bank, and a Mutizen from Inkigayo. Now they're saying goodbye to these programs. At least until the next album. SS501 Kim Kyu Jong 'Strong Heart' First-ever Touching Confession "Father is ex-National Archery Team Player"

SS501 Kim Kyu Jong confessed for the very first time on an incident that made his father felt heart broken.

Kim Kyu Jong talked about his father during the filming of SBS ‘Strong Heart’ recently, making the other guests almost moved to tears.

Kim Kyu Jong said “My father was a full-time National Archery Team player and was also an Archery coach” And he talked about how he quit archery later on.

Kim Kyu Jong said after his father stopped playing archery, there had been an unexpected incident that came upon his father and family, his father watched by his side and held back his tears alone. This story made the guests present at the filming to swell with tears.

Episode will be broadcast on 01-Dec at 11.05 pm.

SS501 performed today at MBC 2009 'In The Child's New Livelihood' Charity Event. It's great to see the boys actively participating in charity programs. They have enormous talent, and it's just right that they share it to help our less fortunate brothers and sisters. Our boys are looking great as usual, in black and white zebra striped getups. Don't forget, we'll still be seeing them at 'MBC Music Core Special' to be held in Jeju Island, on December 5. Here's a video of their performance at the charity event. SS501 will appear in MBC's Golden Fishery Radio Show Corner, which will air at midnight of December 2, which makes it December 3 technically. They recorded the show last November 25, but we only get to see the pictures now. The boys are looking good here. Leader looks like a young boy, doesn't he? I'm curious what new information we'll get this time. It's always good seeing SS501 in interviews because we get to uncover more stories about them.

I missed the live telecast of SS501 at Inkigayo this afternoon. I totally spaced out and took a nap instead. Sigh. Anyway, thank God for YouTube. It's the boys' goodbye stage at Inkigayo today and I was really hoping they'd win the Mutizen award so they could go out with a blast! But unfortunately, they didn't win this week. Oh well... at least even though they didn't win this week, they WON FIRST PLACE last week! But since Inkigayo didn't air last week (because of the Love Sharing Concert), they awarded the Mutizen to SS501 this week. Two K-Chart wins and a Mutizen award. Hmm... not bad at all for REBIRTH comeback, right guys?

Here's their goodbye stage performance of LOVE LIKE THIS at Inkigayo. The guys are looking HOT HOT HOT in their getups today. Black suit with revealing necklines... Pheeww!!! My favorite Young Saeng moments: 1:29, 1:35, 2:03, 2:09 (oooh, I'm gonna miss these!), Jung Minnie's wink at 1:06, Kyu's tongue action at 2:00 and Leader also sticking out his tongue at 2:34! *faints* Is it hot in here, or what?!

I felt really sad when I watched this clip... but before I say anything, listen to what Hyung Jun has to say first.

If you've watched SS501's episode in Champagne, you would have seen how Maknae was called "loser/outcast" by Han Sung Ju and the MC's of the show. It was meant as a joke, of course, but like Hyung Jun said, people who don't know him yet and who only knew him for the first time through the show, may misinterpret these words.

Actually, the first time I watched this show, I laughed along with the others when these words were said. I was looking at the members, and they were, like, laughing so much. And Hyung Jun was laughing too, he put on such a brave face. It's only now that I realized, he was hurt too. We've been so used to seeing Baby being bullied because he's the youngest, so maybe we just passed this off as just another regular teasing moment. But apparently, it is affecting Baby. I felt sad when he said that people were asking him if he's really an outcast... it must be really hard for him to face these people and answer them that it's not true. Poor Baby...

With the SS501 members, we know that their bullying is just their way of showing how much they love their youngest, and Triple S are witnesses to that... but I hope these people outside of the group and Triple S won't misinterpret what has been said on the show about Maknae being an "outcast", because the TRUTH of the matter is, HE IS NOT! He is an important and essential part of SS501 and he is loved by all the members and all Triple S! So for those of you who have only known Kim Hyung Jun recently and have seen Champagne, don't believe what they said. Our baby is not an OUTCAST! So there. I hope SS501 members will settle this issue with a statement or something. ^_^

[News] SS501 Kim Hyun Joong perform song that promote prevention of new influenza

Recently contracted new influenza and causing a lot of fans worried about him, SS501's Kim Hyun Joong performed song that promote prevention of new influenza.

In the recent SBS 'Star King - Definitely shocking Program", Accapella group Voiture promote how to prevent new influenza. Kim Hyun Joong and other 'Star King' participants also sing the new influenza prevention promotional song on stage.

Kim Hyun Joong said: "When was confirmed contracted new influenza, I was very panic and scared. I had to calm myself and now I was completely recovered." He also said: "You must always be careful to wash your hand, this will definitely help prevent new influenza."

New influenza promotion song's lyric is altered from Cosmetic Coreana CF song "Holding Hands", it was remake by group Acappella into "Wash Hand", the lyrics was totally different fro the CF song and the content combine all prevention steps for new inflenza. It was officially released before broadcast in 'Star King'.

SS501 performed their Goodbye Stage at Music Core today. It's sad that they're ending their REBIRTH promotions... but my only consolation is that we'll be seeing them more overseas and of course, in other activities outside the music shows. But I'm sure gonna miss Young Saeng's signature move and Mal's sexy dance. LOL. By the way, I loved their entrance in today's performance. Watch the clip.

[News] Hong Kong watch seller can't recognize Kim Hyun Joong

SS501 Kim Hyun Joong revealed embarrassing incident in Hong Kong.

Kim Hyun Joong participated in the 26 November broadcast KBS 2TV 'Happy Together 3', demonstrating his good eloquence. In this episode's program, jointly participated include Kim Hyun Jong, Lee Hye Juk, Kim Hyun Chul.

Kim Hyun Joong said: "Not long ago I went to Hong Kong and had the feeling of being snatched money liked in high school."

"There were a few uncle with beard came over to say they had fake branded goods."

Kim Hyun Joong said: "I don't want." They followed by asking: "Do you want the A grade?"

After taking out the S grade, both of the uncle solemnly said: "If I do not sell this I will die." Then he took out another fake branded bag."

Until Kim Hyun Joong spend 600 dollar to purchase a watch, then they released him.

After that Kim Hyun Joong went to the night market, he said: "An auntie came over and show me a picture book. There was a similar watch which I had purchased, and it was selling at half the price. I was so angry, so I spend 200 dollar to purchase another piece."

Opposite the watch seller, there was a pirated CD store, while bargaining with the auntie, the CD store's boss brought the 'Boys over Flowers' DVD and walked over, Kim Hyun Joong thought he had recognized himself and felt very embarrassed. However, the watch seller shook her hand. His words caused everybody to laugh.

When asked whether it is troublesome to look handsome. He answered: "Better than looked ugly." Causing another round of laughter.

Hi everybody, this is DSP media,

SS501 mini album 'Rebirth' which was released on mid October was the consolidate product of the 5 members during the 1 year 7 month period, thus it is even more meaningful. In such a short period, being able to win No.1 ranking in major music chart and winning No.1 in KBS Music Bank, getting very good result.

All these were accomplished with the support and hard work of all TripleS.

27 Nov's KBS 2TV 'Music Bank', 28 Nov MBC-TV 'Show! Music Core', 29 Nov SBS TV 'Inkigayo' will be the goodbye performance. 5 Dec will also participated in 'MBC Music Core Special' held in Jeju Island. Hope everybody will be present to cheer for SS501 goodbye stage.

After the long waiting period and having a short activities, more or less we have some regrets. The new album was plan for during the 1st half of next year, hope that before that you can continue to give us your support.

The Hong Kong Asia Tour concert will be held at Asia World Arena. Hope everybody will support the future Asia tour and other activities.

At last, an official notice. More often than not, we only get second hand news and updates of the boys. We seldom get official statements/announcements like this from DSP. So it's always nice whenever DSP releases these notices. Don't be sad about our boys completing their SS501 Rebirth activities, guys. We'll still be seeing more of them, so don't worry!

A lot of fans have now received their copy of SS501 Five Men's Five Years DVD, and some pictures scans have been shared with us. Aside from pictures, video clips from the DVD have surfaced too. Here are a couple of clips shared by Double HJ Korea. Of course, these pics and vids are just meant to be teasers. They should encourage you to buy the original copy! Let's support the boys by buying original copies of the DVD guys!

For those of you guys who don't know yet how SS501 members have been selected, and are wondering... you're questions are about to be answered. Happy Together is now up in YouTube, but there are no subs yet, so I'm not posting them here. If you want to watch without English subs, watch here. SS501 Kim Kyu Jong shocking revelation: 'I was the only one who had to audition to pass, the others were accepted without any audition!'

SS501 selection process revealed.

On the night of 26 on Happy Together, Kyu Jong revealed: 'I had to audition for about 4 years before I finally succeeded, the other 4 entered DSP through the President's connections'.

Kyu who aspired to be a singer since young, said: 'Been auditioning for 4 years. In a famous, planning company, I finally saw members who were all accepted without any audition/interview, and I understood that there was also the easy route. Because all the other 4 members were selected through connections.'

Kyu said, "Jung Min is the President's high school junior, and a noona that JM knew introduced Hyun Joong hyung'. To this, Leader said: "'So I went to try and see, and I was selected on the spot -- (they said) 'let's settle on this one'".

Kyu continued, "Maknae is the son of the President's friend. Finally Young Seang knows a noona who knows Maknae, and hence went to audition', thus revealing the other members' selection process.

Leader, who participated in the show with Kyu, said: "so actually besides Kyu Jong, the others were selected through Jung Min". causing laughter on the set.

The last and final episode of SETI is out! Aww... this is bittersweet. I have actually gotten used to seeing cute Kyu every Tuesdays and Fridays ever since SETI came out. Now, we won't be seeing him in the show anymore. Even though every episode is like 2min max, Kyu really makes it all worthwhile. But alas, all good things must come to an end. At least Kyu was able to prove that he can act. I'm sure we'll be seeing more of him in other shows.

Now on to the last episode. Let's just say my heartbeat probably stopped for a second or so nearing the end of the clip. Way to end the webtoon series! With no less than a kiss! Okay, Kyu fans should be hyperventilating in 3... 2... 1...
