SS501 (pronounced as double S five-oh-one, or double S o-gong-il in Korea) is a popular group from South Korea, composed of 5 pretty, talented and wacky boys, namely: Kim Hyun Joong, Heo Young Saeng, Kim Kyu Jong, Kim Hyung Jun, Park Jung Min. They are under management of DSP Entertainment.
SS501 debuted on June 8, 2005 with their first single "Warning", followed by their second single "Snow Prince" which catapulted them to fame and success.
The name of the group has a special meaning. The first “S” stands for a variety of things that denotes the future, like Star/Sun/Super... etc. The second “S” stands for "Singers". The numbers... 5 (the 5 of them), 0 (infinity or forever) and 1 (united as one). Putting the name together, SS501 means `five singers united forever to become superstars’.
Their official fan club is known as "Triple S". There are lots of Triple S fans from around the world, and this blog is for their fan base in the Philippines, a.k.a. Triple S Philippines.

first time i chance upon them was when i saw Snow Prince MV on Arirang then lost touched -only after watching KHJ as Jihoo in BOF that I started to really know them-the rest of what i learned about them has given me an appetite that cannot be satisfied -they are truly a fantastic group and one gets to see them grow under one's eyes -AMAZING ! More power to SS501 !!!
