Who's got their copies of the REBIRTH mini album? I hope most of you guys already have your own copy! If you've got it, then I'm sure you love the packaging right? The packaging is really great, and inside the album there are messages from our boys, complete with their signatures. But I'm sure most of you (including me), don't understand Hangul, so we're wondering what SS501's messages are. Well, mini UFO was kind enough to translate these messages for us.

SS501 albums Superhits, Deja Vu, and Find was released in Manila last October 26, and after just a few days of release, they're sold out! It's a momentous event for Triple S Philippines, having SS501 albums released here in our country. It's a dream come true for us Pinoy fans especially those who don't have the option to buy online. When we knew that 3 of SS501 albums were going to be released here by Warner in various SM music outlets, we were beyond excited! Triple S have gone in droves to the malls, and bought the albums the minute they were placed in shelves (some albums weren't even displayed because they were bought right away!) Fans from the provinces asked their friends and relatives in Manila to buy the albums for them. Some were sad because they weren't able to buy since there are no more units available.

This was the first time SS501 albums were released here in the Philippines, and I can say that it was a SUCCESS! This just shows that SS501 has a HUGE fanbase here in the Philippines, and I hope that DSP and the boys are aware of that. If only they knew how much we Filipino fans LOVE THEM! Here are a few pics taken by Triple S Philippines on the day the albums were released.

I visited YesAsia today, and saw the REBIRTH banner on the main page! Awesome! I bet they're still getting lots and lots of orders for the album. I ordered the Rebirth Limited edition, Korean Version. But I sooooo want the Taiwan version A too! It has a freakin' DVD included! It has SS501's MV of Love Like This plus bonus footages! Wow! SS501 new songs from the REBIRTH album are ranking high in various Korean Music Charts! I'm so happy!!! I hope this continues! I'm not really sure how music charts work, whether they're reflected from album sales, requests, or other factors. Nevertheless, seeing our boys' songs ranking on top is a very good indication that people are digging their new tunes! Continue supporting SS501! Let's make their album No. 1 and their comeback successful!!!

Since their 3rd single DÉJÀ VU released in March 2008, SS501’s mini album ‘REBIRTH’ special edition package was released after 1 year 7 months.

Special Edition comprises of : 2-type poster, photo + diary (100 pages), CD

In the past 1 year 7 months, Heo Young Saeng, Kim Kyu Jong and Kim Hyung Joon released SS501 special album, Kim Hyun Joong acted as JiHoo sunbae in KBS drama ‘Boys Over Flowers’, Park Jung Min acted as Danny in musical ‘Grease’…SS501 Asia Tour Concert.. They had many activities.

SS501 prepared this album in the midst of preparing for their Asia Tour Concert. Because this album is one that was done after a long time, they have great expectation towards their music, they worked hard as they want to produce a near-perfect album for their fans who have waited for them for such a long time. This album is made even more wonderful with the participation of many famous foreign composers.

Title song ‘LOVE LIKE THIS’ is a song that was initially revealed through their Asia Tour Concert, it received very good response during the concert when it was performed. Composed by Steven Lee, Drew Ryan Scott, Sean Alexander, they tried a new change to this up-tempo synth pop, an impressive song with cute repetitive melody. For an explosive and sharp song arrangement, 6 times Grammy award winner, music engineer Ken Lewis, who arranged songs for America’s top singers like Usher, Kanye West, John Legend, etc, participated in this album, making the quality of the songs to a higher level. In addition, ‘LOVE LIKE THIS’ had received hold requests (buying) from places such as USA and Europe, however when SS501 went to USA for Hollywood Bowl and met with music producer Steven Lee and he gave this song especially for SS501. Vocal production arrangement is done by DREW RYAN SCOTT from VARSITY FANCLUB, where unique harmony can be heard.

SS501 advances into another level with their vocal and music through this album. SS501 will present themselves with an even more matured and perfect image to their fans once again.

I'm quite disappointed that they're releasing a mini-album. These boys deserve a full album after everything that they've been through. Triple S all around the world want a full album and have been saving for one. And now, we're all greeted by the news that they'll only release a mini-album?! Darn it. But I guess there's really nothing we can do about it. No matter, let's still support our boys! Let's take "Rebirth" to the top of the music charts Triple S! Then maybe DSP will finally give us a FULL SS501 album. Sigh. Let's not dwell on the negative. Focus on the positive. We can do it!

P.S. Here's the edited version of their album cover. Notice Kyu is not stepping on Young Saeng's foot anymore. LOL.

REPOST WITH FULL CREDITS ONLY.

Just a few things I want to say...

• Kyu is stepping on Young Saeng's foot!
• Kyu is shorter than Young Saeng (when YS is supposed to be the shortest of them all)
• At first glance, I thought Jung Min was Young Saeng in this pic.
• I love the heavy make-up!
• I love the mysterious and manly feel of the album.
• SS501's image is totally different here!
• REBIRTH is the perfect album title.

Remember the Five Men's Five Years DVD? The news was released when they were shooting for the photobook in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia. Here's the DVD cover of Five Men's Five Year DVD from DSP. I love it! Notice their shadows spell out SS501... beautiful. I want one!!!

YesAsia is now accepting Pre-Orders for the DVD Taiwan Version. I hope they will also release an ENGLISH SUBBED version of the DVD because I'm definitely buying one!!! Here's the product description lifted from YesAsia:

GOOD NEWS TRIPLE S PHILIPPINES!!!

SS501 CDs, namely SUPERHITS, FIND & DEJA VU will be released in Manila within this month. Packaging of the cds would be the same as those cds released in Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia and HongKong.

Exact release date to be announced soon.

Before anything else, today is the last day for the Chuseok celebration in Korea. Hope our SS501 boys have enjoyed their 3-day celebration with families and friends. I would have wanted to see them perform in the SBS Idol Big Show Special, but I guess they needed to rest and I'm sure that's just fine with Triple S. All we want is for them to get enough rest and then come back healthier! Right guys?

Anyway, on to some good news... SS501's albums released in Taiwan climbed up to the top 3 highest sales spots in major Taiwan CD stores. They're dominating the Korea & Japan Pop category! Isn't that great?! Thanks to apap60819@Baidu Tieba SS501 and SS601.com for sharing with us the good news! I hope they'd also release in the Philippines. What do you guys think? Will they also have the same success here in the Philippine Music Charts?

The SS501 SUPER HITS! Ultimate Deluxe Taiwan Edition is released! Wow, lucky Taiwanese fans... I want to buy one!!! Look at the photos below. It looks really interesting. Don't know the track listing yet, and I don't know if there are already online stores that sell this, but while we wait, you might want to grab first the Super Hits! (Taiwan Deluxe Edition CD+DVD) in Yesasia.

My package has finally arrived!!! I've waited for more than 2 weeks for this, and finally it's here! Yippee! I bought the U R Man Special DVD and the SS501 Solo Collection CD from YesAsia. Actually, this is my birthday gift for myself. LOL. And I want to support SS501 by buying their original album. If you guys want to support SS501, please buy the original copy and not the pirated ones. We want SS501 to go on for a long time, right? And the only way they can go on and the only way their company will continue to manage them is if they have high album sales. So instead of downloading their songs via the Internet, buy your own original copy. I assure you, it's really worth it. And nothing beats the original. So support our boys! Buy your original copies now!
