SS501 Kim HyunJoong, who has recently moved over to another management company, has gathered attention on whether he will be making a comeback with drama ‘Mischievous Kiss’ (also known as ‘It started with a kiss’, I shall use ‘Mischievous Kiss’ here since this is a more accurate translation from the Korean title), originated from a Japanese manga.
Kim HyunJoong has been chosen as the male lead for ‘Mischievous Kiss’, which would be broadcasted through MBC, he is going into the final stages of discussions. Even though there hasn’t been any confirmation till date, Kim HyunJoong, who has received a lot of attention as a singer turned actor through ‘Boys Over Flowers’, has gained attention on whether he will raise another wave of syndrome through this manga-originated drama once again.
From the initial time when news of drama ‘Mischievous Kiss’ is going to be filmed, Kim HyunJoong was chosen as number 1 person to be casted for the role among the netizens as they think that he is most suited with the original image in the manga. CN Blue Jung YongHwa is also one of the candidates selected, but it would be difficult to cast him in due to his schedules. Meanwhile, ‘Mischievous Kiss’ production side said in brief “Nothing has been confirmed yet.”
Production for ‘Mischievous Kiss’ is taken up by Group Eight who has raised the ‘Boys Over Flowers’ wave syndrome, ‘Mischievous Kiss’ is a popular manga which has sold 27million copies in Japan alone. Taiwan drama of the same title by Joseph Cheng and Ariel Lin has gain a lot of popularity too.
Korean version of ‘Mischievous Kiss’ will be directed by Hwang InRol who has directed ‘Shampoo’s Fairy‘, ‘What Woman Live By’, ‘Goong’, ‘IlJiMae Returns’, etc, and written by Go EunNim who has written ‘Bungee Jumping of Their Own’, ‘Rebirth – NEXT’, ‘Soul’, etc.
‘Mischievous Kiss’ is expected to be broadcasted after MBC Wed-Thu drama ‘Road No. 1’.

Like what the article said, nothing is confirmed yet. But if this is true, I hope Leader enjoys doing the new drama. The title sounds intriguing enough. I'm sure it will be a hit. But I do hope that it won't be a repeat of BOF wherein he got extra thin and exhausted. I hope that KE will see to it that his work won't affect his health. I support Leader all the way.

I'm sure many KHJ fans would like to see him doing the drama series again after all BOF has ended a year and several months ago .
But the big question is does he like this kind of drama ?He has said before he wanted to do a more challenging role next time around.Unless he has changed his mind since then. The important thing is he likes doing it and it is not going to compromise his health again.

i think that this drama is abig challeng . joe cheng was very good in this drama and the korean drama will have to be very very very good to secsses. i wish him good louk.
..I definitely love to see him in this drama...I've watched Started With A Kiss and I'm sure Korean version will absolutely be as nice as the Taiwanese version..

No ,I don't agree that this drama will be a challenge to KHJ at all. He doesn't even need to act .He will just be overloaded with work what with his Japan activities.
BOF is the more challenging one because he has to give a restrained performance and the personality of the real KHJ and Jihoo are different .
What he needs is a serious drama -with a substantive plot that will draw out a different emtional level from him not the cutesy stuff ISWAK is mostly made of .I really hope he doesn't accept this drama if it is offered to him.
I just want to see Kim Hyun Joong play the main lead, I'm happy to know that he's the top choice for this drama.
I know he'll be more busy and all but this is a great opportunity for him and I mean come on, who wouldn't want the sexy Kim Hyun Joong to be the heart-throb main leading guy to play apart of a romanceeee? ;]

I like Kim Hyun Joong as an actor. I will follow whatever news about this hunk. As of this time, I'm hooked with Down with Love and other Taiwanese drama.
