I was watching the 4th episode of M!Pick a while ago, and I was doubling over with laughter because 1) Leader didn't know how to smile in front of the camera, his facial expressions when practicing were hilarious! 2) Hyung Jun didn't know how to sign his name and even asked Leader to teach him how to design a good signature 3) Hyung Jun looked so awkward when posing for the camera 4) Kyu Jong looked soooo different and 5) Leader was, as always, 4D. LOL.
It's actually really interesting to look back and see how the boys were, when they were just starting out. During their first photoshoot, they still didn't know how to project themselves well, they even didn't know how to sign their signatures... all this, the FAME, the SHOWBIZ, the ATTENTION, all were still very new to them. But now, I look at them, years after, to where they are right now, looking at what they have achieved... they didn't just improve in terms of their looks, they also improved in their craft, they've matured, and the way they project themselves now is sooo different from before... they're PRO's now! Like for instance, Leader can smile naturally in front of the camera now and Baby can now turn that charm on instantly when shooting. Truly, they've become STARS in every sense of the word. But still, they continue to be humble and down to earth, they never let their fame enter their heads to the point where they become arrogant and snobbish. They remain, as always, the SS501 that we fell in love with.
Let's look at the before and after pics that I found... The BEFORE pics were taken for SYNDROME Magazine from 2006, and the AFTER pics are, of course, from the SOLO COLLECTION jacket photos in 2009. The boys signed the latter for SS601, as tagged on the pics. See the difference 3 years can make?!
