[News] SS501 captivated 7,000 Hong Kong fans

SS501 held their ‘Asia Tour PERSONA in HongKong’ concert on 12-Dec afternoon at HongKong Expo Arena, driving the crowd of 7,000 Hong Kong fans wild. All of SS501’s concert tickets, including standing and seated, were sold out.

In this concert, SS501 performed songs such as ‘Love Like This’, ‘Only One Day’, ‘Green Peas’, etc, which were included in their ‘Rebirth’ album which was released in October. At the end of the concert, SS501 raised the excitement with a surprise appearance with special effects of falling snow and Santa Clause costume. SS501’s representative said “Many Hong Kong fans were there to welcome SS501 at the airport when they arrive on the 10th. They cheered for them with endless applause at the concert. Hong Kong media also show their interest in each and every move of SS501, making us get an actual feeling of SS501’s popularity in HongKong.”

Hong Kong media did a detailed report, such as SS501’s arrival details at Hong Kong Chek Lap Kok Airport on 10-Dec, and meeting the fans, etc, showing their extreme interest. 30 over security team members were mobilized at Chek Lap Kok Airport for SS501’s arrival.

SS501 will attend ‘Yahoo! Asia Buzz Awards 2009’ on 14-Dec. Kim HyunJoong will be honorably triple-crowned with ‘Buzz International Single’, ‘KR TOP Buzz Artiste’, ‘Taiwan TOP Buzz Korean Artiste’ at this award ceremony. SS501 will also receive the award for ‘Buzz International Group’.

SS501 will return on 15-Dec afternoon, and will fly to Tokyo Japan on 19-Dec for ‘SS501 Christmas Show’.

[News] SS501 started their concert in Hong Kong. Praised night scenery and celebrate with parents.

SS501 held their first concert in Hong Kong last night. 5 of them greet an early Christmas greetings to their fans with Santa clause outfit. In between, Kim Hyun Joong stripped his shirt during the performance and also revealed that after the concert he will celebrate together with his parents.

SS501 last night held their concert in Asia World Arena, during the concert, all their fans waved green light stick. The seating rate is 95%. Wearing mask and lowering down from top, the 5 members started the concert with firework effect and with their dance and song. Following by that they dance together with the lady dancer who were dressed in short skirt, causing the fans to scream non stop. Their stage were designed using the '田' shape to bring their distance closer to their fans.

Praises for Hong Kong
SS501 has practiced their cantonese to greet to everybody, and also used their half familiar cantonese to do self introduction. During the individual speech, Park Jung Min who was very playful and pretended to kiss other members. During the individual performance, Park Jung Min used perfect cantonese to sing Leslie Cheung's 'Zhui' (Chase), he revealed that he like Hong Kong and praised its night scenery and beautiful fans.

Travel together with Parents
As for leader Kim Hyun Joong's individual performance, he hug the lady dancer and made a hot performance. After ripping his black shirt, he striped off his shirt to show his muscle and kneel on the stage. Kim Hyun Joong expressed: "Hong Kong's night scenery is very beautiful. This time I came together with my parents. After performance I will celebrate together with them." He also said he will tour around Hong Kong, also told the fans if they met him: "Remember to ask for my autograph." Talk about unpredictable. He really is living up to his change of image, huh? Aww, Saengie... you really are a bad boy now?! LOL.
