Hyung Jun becomes a Pro-Gamer Season 2, Hyung Jun forms Game Team! Start!

Earlier last year, Hyung Jun's participation in MBC reality TV program 'SS501 Hyung Jun becomes a Pro-gamer' had not only received high viewer ratings, but he had also captivated viewers' hearts with his indiscriminate sociable personality in becoming a pro-gamer despite the setbacks he met. With the encouragement from game fans and viewers, he is finally making his return with Season 2 SS501 Hyung Jun forms Game Team.

Our Maknae Hyung Jun is back for Season 2 of Progamer! Yay! I really loved Season 1, and I was sad when it ended after 10 episodes. So now you can just imagine how happy I am that the show is back for Season 2! Which means, more of adorable Hyung Jun! Hope to see Shark again! Can't wait for this to air! Awwww, it's sad for us that Progamer is ending, but I know it's even sadder for the progamers and Hyung Jun. They've created this special bond after just a few months of filming, they've become close friends, and these moments are hard to let go. I feel really sad, especially with Shark's message. In the video below, the progamers each gave a message to Hyung Jun, and Maknae cried! It must be really an emotional time for him. I love this show, and it's great to know that Hyung Jun found some really good friends from it. Shark is right, he really did create a happy and enjoyable atmosphere in the show. That's one of the things I love about SS501's baby. He's so adorably cute and fun. And I'm saying that just by watching his shows. What more if I could actually be with him in real life and get to experience his company. I guess there will be no dull moment. Anyway, here's a clip from Episode 10 (I think). Only Shark's message was translated. Can't wait for the whole episode to be subbed! Then I'll watch!

Episode 1 of Hyung Jun's show 'Progamer' is up in YouTube with English subs! I've been waiting for this! You know me, I'd much rather wait for the subs before watching. :) I've only played StarCraft a couple of times in my life, it's not my favorite online game. P.S. Okay, I'm done watching, and I really enjoyed this episode! Especially, the 2nd half of the show. The first part, well, I didn't really enjoy much since I'm not that interested in Starcraft, but since Baby was playing, that in itself is interesting. Especially the moments when he was so embarrassed for not playing well, and trying to get the coach to accept him. He looks so cute with his expressions! I felt bad because the other pro-gamers were too harsh, judging Baby, but he wasn't even fazed. He was determined to get in! I really really enjoyed the show. Maknae bribing Shark, letting him meet Rainbow in exchange for another chance with the coach, that's so like Baby! Hahaha! Had quite a few laughs. Can't wait for the next subbed episode! :) I wish SS501 members would have a chance to do more reality shows like this in the future. And I hope they'd get to star in one that features all 5 of them!

Episode 9: After a few weeks of waiting Episode 9 is finally out! After this, one more episode to go!



Episode 10: Finally! The final episode has been subbed! This is a tearjerking episode. I really cried because I could feel Hyung Jun's sadness and gratefulness at the same time. It's been a great show and he has bonded with the other players already in his short stay there. Goodbye is always the hardest part. But then this really isn't goodbye, right? I'm sure he will still visit his newfound friends from time to time. :)

U-KISS Kim Ki Bum challenged to Kim Hyung Joon of real variety program ‘SS501 Hyung Joon, Become a Pro-gamer’

In this episode, U-KISS visited MBC Game HERO Practice Room which is the location setting for MBC Game variety program ‘SS501 HyungJoon, Become a Pro-gamer’. One of the reasons why they came by amidst their busy schedule is because U-KISS’s KiBum is Kim HyungJoon’s brother.

In the interview during the first shooting, Kim HyungJoon said “I have never won my brother Kibum before. While preparing to be a pro-gamer, I really want to have a competition with him if my skill improves, and my brother accepts the challenge readily.” showing his determination about this competition. In order to let his brother know about the attractiveness of e-sports, Kim HyungJoon liaised by personally explaining and prepared a virtual professional league.

In addition, in this 5th episode, you will be able to admire Kim HyungJoon’s hidden body figure. Popular group SS501 member Kim HyungJoon will meet with ‘King’ professional gamer Im YoHwan (30, SK Telecom) on 6-Feb. Kim HyungJoon is currently appearing in MBC Game real variety program ‘SS501 HyungJoon, To be Pro-Gamer’ broadcasted every Wednesdays at 4pm.

[News] ‘SS501 Kim Hyung Jun, To Be A Pro-Gamer’ 1st Broadcast Ranked 1st in Viewership

MBC Game (MBC Plus Media representative Jang GeunBok) revealed that ‘SS501 HyungJoon, To Be A Pro-Gamer’, which made its first broadcast on 27-Jan, was ranked 1st in the same time slot including the terrestrial broadcasted programs, and ranked 1st for instant highest viewership including terrestrial broadcasted programs.

According to viewership research company TNS, ‘SS501 HyungJoon, To Be A Pro-Gamer’ had its first broadcast through MBC Game on 27-Jan (Wed), made an average viewership from the national male population aged 13~25 at 1.0366% (market share 18.06%), and 1.184% (market share 25.06%) based on national male population in their twenties, making them to be ranked 1st including other terrestrial broadcasted program.

After 15 minutes of broadcast, at about 16:30hrs, it recorded 1.344% of instant highest viewership based on national male population aged between 13~25 and made it to the 1st position beating even terrestrial broadcasted program. Based on national male population in their twenties, it recorded instant highest viewship of 1.57% at about 17:00hrs. There are a lot of attention on this as he is a member of an idol group, right after the broadcast, the real-time search ranking in Naver website has ‘Kim HyungJoon’, ‘Kim HyungJoon To Be A Pro-Gamer’ in the 1st and 3rd place respectively.

[News] SS501 Maknae Kim Hyung Jun will take on challange to be a professional gamer

On the 22th, MBC Game department revealed, Kim Hyung Jun will participate in 'SS501 Hyung Jun, become a professional gamer' starting from end of January. The program will show Hyung Jun as a new gamer, working hard to be a professional gamer.
