SS501 - Triple S Philippines Blog

Someone dropped a comment in my post, Kim Hyun Joong Pics @ Taiwan Persona, asking me to also post individual pictures of the other members. I've been busy with recent updates and the boys' comeback, so Taiwan Persona took a back seat. Anyway, I'm posting them now... Enjoy!

Most of you already know that SS501 performed some of their new songs from the REBIRTH album at Persona in Seoul and Japan, right? That was months ago, but I've ONLY noticed fancams from those events surfacing in YouTube NOW that the album has been released. This means that Triple S fans KEPT their fancams for 2 months, and just released them now that the album is officially out. I don't know about you, but that just proves that Triple S fans are really respectful and loyal! That's one more reason why I'm proud to be a Triple S!

I can just imagine how difficult it is to keep the fancams because I know how exciting it must be to share with the whole world how wonderful these performances are. So I'm going to salute you Triple S! Well done! Now that the album is out, we can rejoice and celebrate with our boys. We can watch all we want in YouTube, but always always remember guys: DO NOT DOWNLOAD SONGS, BUY THE ORIGINAL ALBUM!!!

SS501 Performed at Taipei Arena
Praised TW Fans for being Warmest & Most Passionate

So long as SS501 is there, the screams will not cease!

Popular Korean boy band SS501 held their first overseas concert at the Taipei Arena on 17th. The five members gave their best to give a dashing appearance and performance, and they also said that they'd carried out the promise they'd made to everyone earlier. Although they did not speak very much Mandarin throughout the concert, SS501 was all praises for the Taiwanese fans' ultra-warm passion.

SS501 is now the holder of two records for being the first South Korean group and also the fastest to hold a concert at the Taipei Arena after releasing their albums in Taiwan. They had a total of ten changes of costumes tonight, and they were able to run everywhere on the T-shaped stage. That, coupled with the lighting comparable to those in the large-scale clubs and the numerous breakthrough effects, caused the fans to scream incessantly. Even the members complimented on how ultra-passionate and enthusiastic the Taiwanese fans were.

At the points when SS501 performed the the song track Because I'm Stupid from the drama Boys Over flowers and when Kim Hyun Joong ripped off his top to show his chest during his Please Be Good To Be Me solo item, the fans went totally crazy and out of control. Jung Min's rendition of Tian-Mi-Mi 「甜蜜蜜」 further reached the cores of the near-11,000 fans' hearts. Including the five members' solos, there were a total of 24 songs being performed at the concert tonight.

The standing area, also the hottest and most-wanted zones of the fans, had a little commotion just before the concert was about to start. The organizer Broker Brothers Herald (BBH) commented that it was only when they were on-site to build the stage that Taipei Arena requested that they widen the safety passage, and this resulted in a small fraction of the fans who held Section-B standing tickets not being able to enter the venue. After an emergency negotiation, the fans were arranged to sit at the media and VIP section, and the matter was settled amicably.

After successfully wrapping up their first-ever concert in Taiwan, SS501 is expected to take the Asiana Airlines flight OZ712 at 2:45pm on the 18th to return to Korea. Warner Music Taiwan, on the other hand, will continue to blaze the SS501 trail by releasing the Taiwanese version of their latest mini album on the 30th.

As expected, the concert was a success! Congratulations SS501 for another fantabulous performance. Bravo! Now next on their SCHEDULE is the release of the REBIRTH mini album on the 22nd. Their comeback officially starts then and we should all support them! Like Leader said in his Tony Moly interview, if we want SS501 to stay, we have to buy their albums. And who doesn't want SS501 to stay??? So Triple S, support support support! For those who haven't ordered their album yet, order now! Although the marketing strategy of DSP is poor, we Triple S can make up for their weakness. Let's spread SS501 love by getting as much people as we can to buy their album. We can do it! [News] Korea Idol Group SS501 start the concert. Shower chocolate. Fans frenzied.

Korea idol group SS501 started their concert in Taipei Arena tonight. Coupled with explosive and impactful fire flame as background effect, giving a shocking impact everybody. When SS501 showered fans with chocolate, all went into a frenzied.

At the beginning of the concert, SS501 presented their 1st theme song released in Taiwan, 'Deja Vu', powerful song moved the heart of ten thousands fans. SS501 also performed their debut song from their 1st single 'Warning', and also their going to be released new album song 'Lalala song for you' (?? I don't know why they say this song is new??!!)

When SS501 performed 'Four Chance', they dance tango together with sexy lady dancer, causing the fans to shriek passionately. Follow by that was the 5 member solo, 'Hey G', 'Never Let You Go', 'Please, be good to me' and other songs.

Duing Park JungMin solo mandarin song 'Tian Mi Mi', it raised the concert atmosphere to a high. SS501 specially perform unrelease new songs 'Crazy 4U' and also performed 'Peas Princess' as a gift to fans,

This time, SS501 declared that they are 'turning into adult' with their new image. All of them have a new hairstyle, transforming from big boys to stylish men. Their charming and energetic image give everybody a surprised. They have changed many sets of costume during the concert, showing gorgeous and matured look, and fans said: "Very Man, very charming'.

Debut for 4 years, SS501 hold their Asia Tour Concert for the 1st time. They have spend NT10 million to make the stage at Taipei Arena, also prepared around 100 sets of costume. Around 50 staff have came to help with concert preparation. Many fans from Japan, Korea, Hong Kong and Thailand took flight to attend SS501 Asia tour concert.

And of course, the highlight that I've been looking forward to... I actually wondered whether Leader will strip for his solo, because well... he lost a lot of weight. I thought his body wouldn't be up to par. But boy, was I wrong. His body is still hot!!! Look at those muscles. Way to go Leader!

Young Saeng Solo (Sea of Blue):
Triple S especially prepared blue light sticks to create a "sea of blue" as an advance birthday gift for Young Saengie. Blue, because it's his favorite color. According to some fans, when YS saw the sea of blue, he was overwhelmed. Then he smiled, and tears flowed from his eyes. Aww... I wish I was there to witness that. It's so touching.
